Overview
The Basic charts give the possibility to visualize the data in a user-specific way.
The following chart types are available:
Area
Bar
Column
Line
Spline
The previous examples present the number of likes, dislikes and the comment count for a sample of Youtube videos.
Steps to follow
- Create a workflow with a Result Table processor or a Filterable Result Table (FRT)
- Create a new report for the workflow
- In the report add a new Container by clicking "Add Report Container" or by double-clicking in the empty canvas.
- Select a processor with the data that should be visualized
- Switch to edit mode
- Open the chart menu and change the type to the desired Basic Chart

Configuration
The following configuration applies to all chart types:
1. Data Manipulation
Filter shown data. it's possible to add a filter for each column.
2. Category axis*
Select a column for x-Axis
3. Value axis*
Select multiple columns that should be displayed in the chart (y-Axis)
4. Description
Select the column that should be shown as description
5. Axis format
Format the x-Axis and the y-Axis values (can also be set to invisible)
6. Axis Labels
Set and format the x-Axis and the y-Axis labels
7. Label Step Size
Set the step between x-Axis values
8. Stacking
The choices are: "No stacking", "Absolute", "Percentage"
9. Logarithmic Scale
Set the y-Axis to logarithmic scale
10. Format Data
Used to alter one or multiple columns without changing the corresponding data. Add new Format Groups, select the format and add the target columns.
11. General Chart Container Settings
Change the background color and and chose whether to display the container title.
