Overview

Notes in ONE DATA is a useful way to document data tables, workflows, processors and all other OD resources as well as passing on information in case multiple users are using the same resource.

Adding new notes

Resource notes can be added using the button "Edit Meta Info" on the side bar and navigate to the "Notes" tab.

The following example shows how to add new workflow notes.

Processor notes can be added under the "Notes" tab within the workflow configuration.

Accessing notes

Resource notes can be accessed using the button "Show Notes" on the side bar.

The following example shows how to access workflow notes.

Note that the popup window contains a button that is also used to edit the notes.

Processor notes can be accessed under the "Notes" tab within the workflow configuration as well.

If processor notes were added, a button appears on the workflow next to the corresponding processor, clicking this button shows a window with both workflow and processor notes available (Same window that appears using the "Show Notes" button on the side bar).
